COMPANY PROFILE
Insulation Specialty, Inc. (ISI) was founded in 1985 by Ralph and Concetta Madison of Bakersfield, Vermont. Prior to the founding of ISI, Mr. Madison worked for Acousta-Therm and Johns Manville. The Madisons identified a strong need in the area for high-quality products and services related to the insulating of heating, ventilating, air conditioning (HVAC), and plumbing systems in commercial and industrial buildings. Hard work and dedication produced tremendous success. With the passing of both Ralph H. Madison and Concetta J. Madison, their children, Tori Tabor, Ralph Madison, and Bill Madison, have taken over the reigns and are continuing to do business as they were taught by their parents.
Today, ISI services are constantly in demand by the largest industry and state and federal government contractors in the area. ISI specialty insulation crew members are at work throughout the region on projects including the UVMMC and The University of VT, DFA (St. Albans Co-op, various SUNY Plattsburgh and Albany Projects, and CVPH and other hospitals in Northeastern NY and VT, and correctional facilities in Dannemora and Malone, NY -- to name a few.
ISI's great success is due in large part to the dedication of its highly-skilled, key crew members out in the field installing Mechanical Insulation and in the office, including (with years of service in parentheses following crew member name): Tori Tabor (27), Mike Foley (24), Ralph Madison (23), Bill Madison (35), Greg Kane (33), Tim Kane (31), Jacob Curtis (19); Jared Bailey (4) Dylan Madison (4), and Tyler Madison (3).
The company is 51% Women Owned by Tori Tabor. It is operated and managed by Tori Tabor, Ralph Madison, Jr., and William Madison, all of Bakersfield, Vermont. Michael Foley is ISI's estimator.
